If I had the opportunity, and the money, I wouldn't mind a nightgown or a camisole, but not bloomers!

:-)

Oh dear.....just returned.

I didn't see the joke and I'm rather glad I didn't. There is a time.....and a place. Tuts.

Yes Lady Scozz.....my son may be very fortunate indeed one day. I think he is hanging on to them for a while yet though. Apparently Queen V had loads of underwear in all her different residences - they may be a lot more out there somewhere :-)

Oh good....Perhaps GR will now see what I think of dirty jokes about children and a poster who doesn't see any harm in them and berates anyone who does.

To me your answer is childish and twists the subject to suit any indignation you may have at being taken to task. I ask you to re-read your joke and explain to me and others, exactly why you think it is funny.....Perhaps we are all missing something.....but I think not.....The joke belongs in the gutter with any others using children as the content to make, in my opinion, unsavoury persons laugh.

and to the person who RRed me.......Perhaps this type of joke was to your liking? my post seems to be deemed worse, to you!

I wouldn't know of any dirty old mens sites perhaps you can share a few with us.........

ok as you appear to be my personal censor. I'll run my posts past you first.....

you ok with that??

Susan10146857

Susan10146857 Report 27 Oct 2014 18:49

Why would I tell you first Bob?....You have made it clear over the years that dirty jokes are ok with you and that you will continue to post them no matter what.......decency?......that joke of yours was hardly decent?..... It made fun of a little girl who in her innocence allowed dirty minded boys to look at unclothed regions of her body.....Now tell me, how that is decent?

And YES I did admit to it but it was deleted along with your post......For goodness sake clean out your mind......would you laugh if it was a true story?.....If it was your daughter or Grandaughter?.....I expect GR deleted my original post because it was a bit clearer as to why I objected.......Why on earth would you think that children jokes with a sexual content or graphical intent would be of interest to us on here?......It is probably the type of joke to be found on dirty old men's site's Who think nothing of telling dirty jokes about children.

Bobtanian Report 27 Oct 2014 16:47

WHEN did you admit it? and why didn't you have the decency to tell me first?

did anyone else see my joke?

and would you have objected?

Susan10146857

Susan10146857 Report 27 Oct 2014 15:18

I admitted it and said why......The joke was in very bad taste. if anyone can't see that and has to have it spelled out to them as to why it shouldn't have been posted then please feel free to PM me.

Your son should be happy Cynthia :-)

The bloomers (in the story) were sold for over $11,000Aus... no idea what that converts to.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 27 Oct 2014 08:10

I actually have a pair of Queen Victoria's bloomers - or rather, I have now passed them on to my son as part of his 'inheritance' :-D

My late father collected antiques and came across this genuine (and gigantic) article many years ago. They can fetch quite a price I believe.

I am reminded of Mrs Rosemary Hawthorne, a retired vicar's wife, known as The Knicker Lady. There is plenty about her on google...... ;-) :-D

Many of us can claim a "royal" connection, and some may like to have an item belonging to a royal rellie.......

But...... I don't think I'd like to have anyone's underwear!
