According to those that drink them, they give a caffeine induced 'rush'. Good for occasional use, but not regularly.

If you don't usually drink coffee, you could feel unwell. As caffeine is a diuretic, you might find you need to visit the loo sooner than usual. The caffeine might also make your heart beat faster. Use with caution!

Bad for sugar levels

there are sugar free versions - don't use them much but keep some in the car for long journeys, alternative to pro-plus for caffeine boost

well, the reason for asking..........

picture a row of terraced houses.........
with a pedestrian access in a archway. on one side is a footpath, the other a row of garages.
the garage side is the collection point for wheelie bins, and the archway provides a meeting place for various young people to do deals, comment on their last nights' female conquests, etc.........
however most mornings there is a glut of empty refreshment bottles........

my comment is........

how come these drinks don't provide enough energy for these young people to open a wheelie bin and dispose of the empty bottle./can.....? instead of just throwing it into the bushes of neighbouring gardens?.......

Good point Bob!

I'm always amazed at how casual joggers can carry full plastic bottles of water - but not the empty bottles!

Having said that, I was in a wood in the New Forest a few weeks ago, when I noticed something glinting in the leaf mould. I went to look - and noticed it was glass. Worried a deer/pony/cow/pig may stand on it, I picked it up - it was an old fashioned milk bottle.
It had a dairy's name on it, so I took it home, did a bit of research, and discovered it was at least 60 years old :-D

We reckon it was from about the time the trees (not in the best of health) were planted.

Had a thought.......Red Bull can be used as a 'mixer'. Could that be why there are so many empty cans? If so, they are probably too wasted to think about binning the empties!
