We have also had lots of toadstools in our lawn this year.Never had them before so think the fairies have finally arrived in my garden ;-) :-D

but no mushrooms to speak of - or that I could find anywhere and I know where the best grow - a very poor crop this year

I don't remember a year when there have been so many fungi growing in the grass.
I have to keep pulling them up in case the puppy takes it into his head to eat them.
They seem to pop up all over, not just where there might be rotting wood from an old stump or root under the ground as you might expect.
