How lovely to find a bit of non-tech in the young - only yesterday my 19-month great-grandson was demonstrating to me how to swipe through the photos on my tablet!

I agree, Elizabeth, and asked her why she wanted a typewriter, when there are computers/laptops etc.
I think she just wants something non-technical!! :-D

I think I'll find the wooden toys I have, for next time she stays :-D

That's so lovely. :-)

The keys on a manual or electronic typewriter are so much heavier
than using the average computer keyboard.

Last weekend, I asked my 12 year old grand daughter what she'd like for Christmas.
I was somewhat surprised at her response - a typewriter!!!
There are lots online - but I may have one in the attic, in which case she'll get that, and premium bonds or similar.

What really bothered me, was the spools, but was pleasantly surprised to see them for sale at a reasonable price :-D
