I hate predictive text
every time I put my grandsons name in my phone it come up as Gary

his name is NOT GARY :-0 :-0 :-0

Ooh I haven't noticed it. I don't like predictive text either.

The likely explanation is you have you browser has autofill forms enabled.

Whenever it thinks you are typing into a form it offers text you have entered previously into a particular form.

Here are the instructions to turn off in Firefox - other browsers are similar, if you can't see how to work it out mention the browser you use and someone will help.

If you don't want Firefox to remember what you've entered into form fields, you can turn off the auto form fill feature:

Click Tools and choose Options
Select the Privacy panel.
In the drop-down menu next to the words "Firefox will:", choose Use custom settings for history.
Remove the check mark next to Remember search and form history.
Click OK to close the Options window

Alternatively, I find that clearing my browsing history each day (I use CCleaner) also does the trick.
