The Christmas ads are on the tele and the threads on here will slowly arrive

Please remember the homeless at Christmas, not all of them are there by their own choice.

Remember that your pets feel the cold also, but please spare a thought for those pets that haven´t found their forever home. Many shelters could do with old blankets extra food and toys. Maybe a new collar and lead.

Don´t forget your elderly and not so elderly single neighbours. They may have families etc but often they don´t see them over the holiday period. You might not be able to invite an extra person for dinner but a coffee and mince pie would not break the bank. Or just a friendly face on the day with a mince pie and some warming soup.
The Samaritans say that they have more calls at Christmas than any other time of year. The statics say that there are more suicides then any other time of year.

Can I also ask PLEASE do not buy a pet as a Christmas present unless you know for certain that it will be loved for life. <3
