I know I have a map of Christchurch somewhere, but cant lay my hands on it at the moment and am going out soon. If nobody from down there comes up with the answer I will try to find the map tonight or tomorrow morning. |

I found my map of Christchurch. Opawa and St Martins are both suburbs on the SE side of the centre of Chch. They are adjacent to each other, and there is a Wilsons Rd North, a Wilsons Rd and a Wilsons Rd South running through them. Presumably at the time you are talking of they were all just Wilsons Rd. |

Now, if I can just find a map of Matamata before Sunday 23rd, to help me find my way to a BBQ. I have been to the place once before but I am not sure if I can remember how to find it. Maybe I will have to buy a map before then. |

No coincidence, Bob. The Huia is an extinct NZ bird and there are lots of streets named after our native birds, including Huia. There is even a small settlement on the northern shore of the Manukau harbour called Huia. I am world famous in NZ. |

Google Earth is a free download, but you can also use Google Maps, which is similar and which I use to find my way anywhere new. |
