Not only country folk Liz. :-)

I`m a city dweller now (over 45 yrs) and I love Rabbit. Its far far better for you than Beef anytime. You just cant seem to get hold of them here in the City of Nottingham.
(Although, there does seem to be a few in the surrounding countryside).

Florence sweetie, send `em down here. I`ll readily dispose of them for you, Roasted, Casseroled or in a stew, or even Curried.

But Florence, what about all those rabbit pies that country folk? like to eat? (and the Maltese people, they eat a lot of rabbit)

I am already sick of the wet weather here in Norwich, makes my knees ache so badly however warmly I am dressed.

Another theory for "The Flood" is that it was the rising sea level through the Bosporus created the Black Sea.

Dermot

Dermot Report 15 Nov 2014 19:13

'In 1929 Professor Woolley, digging into the ruins of Ur, discovered at considerable depth an eight-foot layer of silt & clay. This, he believed, was deposited during a catastrophic overflow of the Euphrates, which lingered in later memory as The Flood.

Beneath that layer were the remains of a prediluvian culture that would later be describes as a Golden Age’.

(‘The Story of Civilisation’ by Will Durant 1885-1981).

Looking at the logistics of building an Ark, it's just as well the dinosaurs went extinct!

I'll never understand why Noah allowed that pair of mosquitoes aboard the ark?

Dermot

Dermot Report 15 Nov 2014 17:34

Pesky Woodpeckers are excluded from the Ark's passenger list.

That is so, but I think they are trying to sell us, because we were told to sit on the higher purchase. :-D :-D

Has beeen issued by "Nottingham Official Area Headquarters" (NOAH)

It appears quite a lot of rain is expected and the council are making sure the street drains are free of leaves this year. (lesson learnt from previous years)
There are also other contingency plans the council are putting into place just in case....
