There are even bigger crowds every year for the firework display at Poole Quay which of course has just happened without any bad incidents. No talk of cancelling 5 Nov next year either... |

The article quoted fears that crowd safety and moving vehicles. If barriers were erected, would there then be fears about crushing? It would be interesting to know if the Policing costs were a factor. |
