Welcome to GR, terri jane

Unfortunately, you're not likely to get to meet any Fowlers by posting on the Boards.

I once estimated that less than 1% of members even know about these Boards, let alone visit them

This site operates on you doing the work ................

you have to search member trees to see if anyone has any Fowlers in them, then you contact the owner of the tree by pm (private message). GR then sends that member an email to say that there is a pm waiting

Go to Search at the top right

Click on Search

then click on Search All Member Trees

If you find anything of interest ................ click on the tree owner's name, and type your message in the box that appears.

Good luck!

If you're looking for a specific person who you believe is still living you might be better starting a thread on 'Find Living Relatives'.

It would help to narrow things down a bit by telling us what area you think your relatives might be living in. But try to avoid posting information that they wouldn't want plastered all over the internet.

Welcome to the board terri jane.

You can search trees by going to 'Search' at top of the page , you will need to be a bit more specific and look for fist name also as I am guessing there will be many with that surname. :-)
