Impact of cuts to local authority funding

For my LA these funding cuts have led to various 'consultation' documents & meetings. In summary, the LA is stating that residents are going to have a say in which services to keep/reduce and which to eliminate. These alterations are expected to save a stated £75M over the next three years. |

It appears to me that this report is saying, I may be wrong, that the Department for Communities and Local Government, has made cuts to the funding given to local authorities and they have made these cuts without any fully considering how these would affect the services that local authorities provide. |
