There is a good chance some may no longer have the same email address so will not receive an email from genes saying they have a message waiting.

As you only joined this site this month, I would give it a while not everyone checks their messages daily or weekly.... Well I don't

On the list of messages you have sent there are envelopes next to the messages that haven't been read yet.

It is quite common for messages to go unread. It might be that the people you have sent the messages to have left. Howvever, it has been known for people to open those messages and reply after quite a length of time, Whilst some people use this site daily, others pop back less frequently.

Hello there I'm new to this sites and I wondered if I could have a little help please . I've started putting my tree together and found some members of my family in other trees , I have send at least 10 messages explaining who I am in regards to the person in the tree and asking them if they have any more information , up until now I only have one reply , does that the mean the people are no longer on this site or is this quite normal ? Many thanks :-\
