How much are they now from the GRO please?

They are £9.25 now Ann....but that is just by standard post its much more expensive if you want one superfast......

I ordered one last week via standard post and it came within 6 days

Thanks Mersey, I thought so, was just reading on facebook somebody paid £20 for a birth certificate.

I think you can order them from different sites. But those sites then order them from the GRO for £9.25 and charge you £20.00; making £10.75 for themselves.

GRO is £23-40 for priority service,,,,,,,ie next day.

actual cost of the cert in real terms is about 55p.!
