I usually go round at sale times and buy tops and trousers that sort of match. I prefer the cropped trousers in winter and shorts in summer though and don't like anything high at the neck. :-)

Chris, I noticed that the other day, they had a special offer of a gift set if you spent a certain amount. I like pjs but although there were sets as well as separates the tops had very low necks or threequarter sleeves and those are the areas that need more warmth for me. In the past I have bought pj sets from Lidl etc but missed the offer this year although I did manage to get some for o.h. on a different offer, at Aldi, I think it was. The ones for ladies had thin lower necked tops but polyester fleece bottoms and I would have preferred it the other way round.
I am still searching.

PJ's tops are too short.

I wear a nightie & PJ pants.

Yes, it does get chilly (for a few weeks) in winter in Oz. :-D

Expensive for just the top Chris. I assume that was on line so you can return it?

Need some laughter here. A few days ago I decided M & S shopping would be good. Arrived this afternoon - blouse (lovely shade of emerald and half price), boot slippers - magic and OH held up last item - 'what's this?' Pyjamas said I,
'never known you wear pjs' - well I want to!! Bit short -- that is the top. He is saying it is a shortie nightie.

Turns out I thought I was buying a very reasonable set of pjs for £16 - but it was for a top only!!! Back to the drawing board.
