It's finished, it's varnished.

I have the most beautiful floor in the world.

These old council houses, built in the mid 1930s, have the most gorgeous wood.

I am not looking forward to the job itself but those stairs are going to be stunners when they are done, not to mention the landing and bathroom.

I have those doors with one square panel at the top and three vertical long ones beneath and they have grain like shot silk and original Bakelite knobs.
