Can anyone help me transfer details please from a fellow members tree to my own?
I know I go to their tree click on copy a pop up window pops up with details what do I do next please to transfer those details to my own tree?

If you click on copy it copies the info to the clipboard. When you open your own tree you can view the clipoard; but I don't know how to copy from the clipboard to your own tree.

Unless the system has been corrected in the last few months, the clip board refuses to paste into your own tree.

A better way may be to sign into GR in another Window (not tab) then have both your tree and the other members open side by side. You'd need to resize the windows - place your curser on the black bar on the bottom of the screen, left click and select 'Show windows side by side'.

You can then manually copy over the details you require........after check that they are correct ;-)

Dale, Have you asked the tree owner if its OK,,,,,as, if not, there is often a backlash on the boards that details have been taken without asking.

Just been informed by GR that the system is not working re transfers so DeT will have to do it manually such is life.
Kay do I seem like the person who would poach from some ones tree without their permission I'm a good boy I am!!!!
