It is a tourist attraction, families can visit.

I just don't want the hassle of having to take special care and concentrating.

Driving on the right hand side of the road is easy. You need to pay attention when making turns, leaving petrol stations etc to be on the correct side. Overtaking needs careful planning. It is much easier to drive in France with a LHD car. Rental rates are cheaper than in the UK and given the big saving in money on the ferry renting in France is a good option.

I doubt there will be any coach tours lol.

French building regulations are massive tough and rigidly enforced especially on old buildings. How they got away with the Castle I don't know probably some kind of dispensation from the culture ministry (patrimonie).

The series is interesting, even better of you could zap some of the characters.

Yes, it is annoying me.

That place is SO interesting it is worth persevering through her cackle. I don't recall her cackling like that in previous series but it sounds nervous doesn't it?

There must be something there that is making her feel uncomfortable.

How about contacting them? They do have a web site They may know of a tour company who arranges visits.
Alternatively, next time you are passing a decent travel agents, pop in and ask

OH watches the programme. That woman's laugh is beginning to annoy me.

Has anybody else been watching this?

I have been wanting to go to Guedelon for a long time now but neither of us has ever driven on the wrong side of the road legally before.

I am hoping somebody might run a coach trip there now.
