Hi Sylvia

You could try the reverse and just stick a blank "post-it" note over the offending baubles and then remove it on the 15th.

Or you could totally customise your "post-it" note with anything that takes your fancy.

Or turn your GR page into a virtual advent calendar...

Stick 25 "post-it" notes randomly over your screen with the numbers 1-25 on them and remove one on a daily, numerical basis.

Ensure that the final one (we call this "number" or "day 25") covers the general bauble area.

You remove this one on Christmas Day.

Imagine your glee, delight and festive surprise when it reveals the baubles, as if by magic, on "le jour de Noël".

(Did you notice my inclusive nod to our French speaking Canadian friends there?)

Hi eRRol

nice to see your posts again :-)

I've had my baubles for a couple of days :-)

but I actually wish they had waited a little bit .................... the 15th is plenty early enough to put up baubles and tinsel :-D

If you are not seeing any, here is a timely trick you may like to try to join the bauble club.

1. Draw a picture of baubles on a "post-it" note (be as creative as you like but if using coloured crayons then parental supervision is recommended).
2. Stick said "post-it" note on computer screen over the Genes Reunited logo.

Voilà !!!

Instant festive makeover.

NB If you scroll around your screen, remember to move "post-it" note accordingly, otherwise your baubles may become displaced.

NOW YOU GOT ME A WANDERING

wisechild Report 1 Dec 2014 13:44

That´s for me to know & you to wonder about Dizzi. I don´t share my baubles with just anyone.
Anyway, think I would have preferred the couple with the silly hats that we had a few years ago.
Do you remember them?
Perhaps they are like the Emperors new clothes......only the favoured few can see them.

They're only on the ZA site at the moment.

I reckon they'll turn up on the others tomorrow afternoon, Dust and all.

So expect some 'disturbance' while they get the ladder up.

Hasn't this been done already? :-S :-S :-S

Hello Errol :-)

I haven't got baubles yet, they are on the ZA sign in but not yet on UK :-)

I can wait, this year for the first time ever I have done no shopping, written no early cards and not even drafted my 'letter to the commonwealth' which usually accompanies the cards to friends of my late mother :-)

Another austerity Christmas
:-(
