I tried to give away my analogue monitor recently but nobody wanted it.

I have a ZX spectrum n loads of games, tapes n things
tape drive

I have two bbc' model B's
1 single floppy drive and a double drive which served as the "table" for the monitor with the Beeb underneath, boxes of discs n software,
wonder if it'll all still work? sadly only 1 monitor but an analogue tv would do for the other....

remember when most shops had zx's on display? I'd written a "rolling ball" program,
which I had several times loaded onto display machines.

the machine would retain this until it was rebooted.......comical seeing the sales people scratching their heads thinking, "Where did THAT come from??"

You could probably get 70 odd quid for an Acorn Electron these days - it was the poor cousin to the BBC

I still have the forerunner of this - the ZX81.

I first learned how to programme on this.

You can also get your computer to emulate early Sinclair machines (and others such as the Commodore).

And of course, Alan Sugar of Apprentice fame, was responsible in some part for bringing PCs to the masses.

...I believe I have an original in the attic. Is that the one that took a mealtime to load, and made 'spacey' noises as it loaded?

Certainly wouldn't want anything similar - especially at that price!!!
