I've read all the books and to me I'll go back to Radio 4's version with Penny Keith but she is now too old to do it on TV but at her height in To The Manor Born that's Agatha. :-D

I love both the Agatha Raisin and the Hamish McBeth stories. Must admit i have been laughing my head off in bed at Agatha.

Its a shame if the actress is nothing like the book character, but producers want to get their on mark on it somehow.

The actress is Ashley Jenson

She is completeily different from the books.

Ms. Beaton was a consultant on the Sky set, so I am probably assuming she agreed to this change.

Rather like the tv series Bones, where the main character is from the books, but is a totally different person.

Still looking forward to the Quiche of Death though :-D

I love the books Dizzi.

I have just seen a trailer for the Christmas one, Agatha Raisin and The Quiche Of Death, but I am afraid the actress they have playing Agatha isn't how I imagined her.

However I will still watch it.
