Fruit and nut chocolate? This is Cadburys the chocolate is ok but the nuts seem to be very hard and a lot more fruit in proportion to chocolate. Presumably they have changed the recipe at some stage. Not had any of it for years until this week.

L***s chocolate is very nice,, not sickly sweet,,,,,,,,,their F&N is nice as is their just nut large bars, full of what it says,,,

Their little mini Mars type choc bars are just perfect and enough when a sweet tooth takes over,,,they also do a mini Milky Way type ideal for children.

Their dark chocolate bars are a little bitter though,,,,,,,

I'm sure the fruit n nut chocolate I ate as a child had a lot more fruit & nut in it :-)

AND......... I'm not sure if the nuts were peanuts or almonds........

I can't eat it these days, because peanuts make me sick.

My favourite chocolates were for many years Milk Tray, but not anymore. They Taste like cheap chocolate.cadburys roses are the same.

Some of Aldi's chocolate tastes extremely expensive.

I would slip a bar to my mate who is an archivist for certain favours and she always thought I bought it on ferries.

Our Cadbury's Chocolate factory was and may still be in the South Island in Dunedin. We were down there one year when I was a youngster and there was a fire at the factory and the whole place smelt of burnt chocolate.

You would have thought that would have put me off, but no I enjoy the "Thank you very much" Cadbury's Roses.. plus the dark chocolate peppermint one and the milk chocolate caramello. And if anyone feels like giving me a box of Cadbury's Continental chocolates I can't see that as being a problem.

Please don't make that man in the black polo- neck jump out of helicopters for me unless he is carrying a jar of pickled onions.

If he is carrying Milk Tray he can hop back into his helicopter or whatever.
