I really feel sorry for people who can't afford to buy food, at Christmas or any time of the year. When we are out shopping, we always buy extra items for our local Food Bank. :-) :-)

Talking about xmas, I keep thinking about the vast sums of money being spent and those who will have to depend on Food Banks :-(

I remember a time when I used to worry myself silly over Christmas expenses, but I would never have got into debt over it - just spent what we could afford. :-) :-)

Now we don't have any money worries, so we can be more generous :-D :-D

I save every year from January to December,
have done that for years :-D :-D

Christmas has become stressful for a lot of people, Emma, and I don't like the commercial spendfest that it's become. :-|

It's just plain silly to get into debt over what should be a happy time. :-(

Had grand daughter over this morning wrapping
her presents for Amelia...you remember the ones
that took over my back bedroom.... After she had
finished and R helped her load up the car she says
does she have enough....I was speechless for once :-D :-D
