Told the wife I would like a remote control quadrocopter, battling tanks, off road toy car, plus lots of other fun things no you don't she said you don't want that kind of stuff so that's that!
Same with gifts for the sons in law no you can't give them THAT! No fun at all ;-)

Lyndi, a couple of years ago my daughter gave me a jar of nothing, complete with label.

I was most annoyed! Not with the fact that she got me an empty jar, but with the fact that she PAID for it :-|

She could just have printed a similar label on her computer and stuck it to an empty jar ;-) :-D :-D

I'm recycling the Lindt Christmas Teddy. Again.

Santa gave it to DH two years ago.

It's a wonder the teddy is still here....... because I love chocolate!

DH will get "bits & pieces" as stocking stuffers....... bags of licorice etc... and he'll also get a calendar, but I haven't been able to get to the shops that stock the "swimsuit" variety.

:-D

OH and I have finally decided this year NOT to give each other gifts ........ apart from the usual calendars we buy each other to hang over our respective computers!

After 47 years of marriage ................. we have everything we need, or would want

........... at least, until something starts to wear out, but then those things usually wear out in June, not December :-)

That was the funniest episode....... but I don't DH will be doing a Basil.

For one thing, DH's great-grandmother is German :-D

He's quite a mixture......... genes mainly from Cornwall & Germany... I keep threatening to make Cornish pasties & sauerkraut for him.

:-)

He'd better not need penicillin! If he does he'll also need bruise cream.

:-)

I've been looking around the house, wondering where he can hang the deer head........ looks like the only suitable place is in the kitchen.

What have I done? I'll feel like somebody is watching me when I'm cooking dinner.

:-D

:-)

I had to hide it in my wardrobe........ top shelf, behind handbags I rarely use. Nearly broke my neck getting it up there.

Deer! Dear!

Santa's missing red-nosed Deer.

LadyScozz

LadyScozz Report 9 Dec 2014 03:36

Maybe not EVERYTHING, but he has most things he wants/needs.

I've been asking what he wants for Christmas..... usual response.... Nothing! :-(

I can imagine his face on Christmas eve, when he notices his stocking is empty.

I found something this morning.

A stuffed head :-D

Did you say AAARRRRRRGH!! ?

But...... it won't fit in his stocking, so I'll have to get some reindeer food to fill that.

Stop screaming, it's NOT a real one.

It's life size, all fake "fur", the head of a deer. With antlers. BIG antlers. (do deers have antlers? if not, they're horns.)

I might give the deer a red nose for the Festive Season :-D
