Btw, many stores now are using Thai chicken in ready meals and sliced meats, which I am very wary of eating. I only get the odd ready meal if I am in a rush but trying to read all the small print is a chore when in a hurry. I really don't fancy chickens raised in Thailand etc, dread to think what it was fed on .

Sainsburys seem to be cutting back on ranges of items, makes me so cross to go back for something I have bought before, and they no longer stock it.

Son said today he had stocked up on them as they were reduced.

Polishes and dusters were on special offer a few weeks ago. I now realise it's because they were getting rid of them........????

There,s little wonder Tesco is going downhill fast. They take the Pee out of their customers with price changes on a daily basis, they must think we are all stupid and past our sell buy date (As some of their products are.)

I've noticed that with fluffy dusters. I use them a lot because they save me from stretching and bending too much.

I've also noticed that Tesco have drastically reduced the amount of furniture polish they sell.............why? Aren't people cleaning their homes any more? :-S

I drink un-homogenised milk, which doesn't have a long shelf like.
Unfortunately, in my local T*sco's (probably the same one as Chris), they kept it on a high shelf - so high I had to stand on the trolley barrier to reach it.
One week, it had slid so far back, there was only one I could reach, and I didn't check the date.
When I got home, I realised it was 3 days past it's sell-by date, and solid!
E-mailed them, also complained about it's position. I got a £2 voucher - and they've moved the milk down a shelf
:-D

Last week I bought a large, organic Y*o yoghurt pot. It had a week to run on the date.

It was straight into the fridge within 15 minutes. The next day it had completely turned. I telephoned and was sent a voucher for the amount, never mind the blueberries and mango that were wasted at the same time!

I was more concerned that a mother might feed it to their child, especially with it being organic.

I've never much used the discount supermarket A*di, but am doing so now for part of my shop. Have been surprised at how much I can get in a trolley for the price. The free range chicken is superb, such beautiful flavour like old fashioned birds and is half the price of T*sco free range.

I got vouchers for cider, of a make I didn't know and couln't find. I asked an assistant who told me they didn't stock it, so to choose a different sort and she would take the money off my bill, which she did. Tesco are going downhill rapidly, I don't know why they get these things wrong, but it happens a lot.

Sainsburys have them - OH prefers there anyway! I have been using them for years.

Chris, I expect they weren't selling well - hence the voucher.

.......but they may have sold better had they actually had them :-S

Dawnie, that's not very good, is it? I've never bought online, and unless the sell-by date is at least a week ahead, I won't bother!!

OH went there today and amongst his vouchers was one for P.......fluffy duster refills. He could not find any. Whilst queuing up he asked a member of staff if she could find them please.

Back she came 'sorry sir, this store does not sell them'. He pointed to his voucher Tesco - redeem in store or on line. 'Only in premier stores sir'.

Sir did enquire was this not a Tesco Superstore open 24 hours? He was assured it was but P.. fluffy dusters not available.

They will be in more trouble if they keep going like this.
