Sickening, evil acts like this surely gain them no support except that of other cruel people. That these things can happen in a so called civilized world makes me despair of humanity, what future is there with so much hatred and murder going on all over the world, whether on a large scale or small.

Seeing their friends being killed and their teacher being set on fire must have been awful for the students left alive, wondering if they would be next, and seeing such a dreadful sight will have left them scarred for life mentally.

Regarding the poor chap in London, for youngsters of 13 and 14 to be out and ready to kill like that is abhorrent but this seems to be the way of some youngsters whose parents obviously don't care where they are and what they are doing. I am sure lots of these computer games etc are responsible for a lot of the violence. Sadly children play games on phones etc from an early age and some must see the really cruel games there are when they are far too young. Our society has a lot to answer for with so many of the youth of today being so wicked and unfeeling.

Peace in our time? Never in a million years, sadly

Rest in peace. all those killed by these dreadful acts of violence, now so commonplace.

The vast majority of Muslims are as horrified as we are.

The Taliban are about power and control, nothing to do with religion, that's their excuse. The same one used by "Christian" terrorists.

if all this killing is in the name of Allah, one wonders what kind of a person Allah is/was?

My father started school in Peshawar. I have been there following family history. I am really broken up by what has happened. It is on a different scale altogether to the dozens of attacks made by the taliban against schools.

The people are friendly and hospitable beyond belief. The army are very correct and helpful. The kids are bouncy with big smiles, they are full of fun and despite all the woes of the north west frontier eternally optimistic. For sure they don't deserve such a fate.

The Taliban have no place for western education and none at all for girls. For boys education means studying the Holy Qaran by heart and the means of war. They see the army school as a target twice over, a revenge for army operations against the Taliban and action against the "evils" (haram) of modern education. In Arabic "talib" is a student, "mudaris" a teacher. The Taliban are not students of god neither are their mudarissas (schools) placed of learning. They are spawn of the devil.

Will this massacre provoke a change in the complex relationships between the army high command, politicians, the hill tribes and Afghanistan which will at least keep schools out of the killing zone? I wouldn't count on it at all.

1 The wicked flee though no one pursues,
but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

2 When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers,
but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.

Something like 127 killed and over 80 of those were children. All six perpetrators are dead.

They are quoted as saying it's and act of revenge on the military.

So they are too scared to take on the military and kill helpless children instead.

Scum.

To me these violent militants have no soul. They have no love or compassion. In fact they have nothing spiritually or emotionally to give to humanity. They deserve nothing in return and don't deserve to continue to live. Harsh as this may seem it is my opinion.

'Four boys aged 13 & 14 arrested on suspicion of murdering a 52-year-old man in north London have been bailed.

The boys were arrested after the man was found stabbed at his home in The Broadway, Edmonton. Officers suspect there was a "verbal altercation" between the victim & a group of boys trying to get into to a party in a block of flats.

A fifth boy, aged 13, remains in custody, Scotland Yard said'. (BBC).

*Equally horrendous! What does it take to be stabbed to death in London nowadays?
