I have fibromyalgia, have had it for years even before it was diagnosed. I also have chronic fatigue syndrome. My fibro fog comes and goes, but I have to live my life to fit with it, won't drive if I am feeling woolly headed.

My Mother had fibromyalgia.

I know what you mean about the "fog" :-(

My doc keeps mentioning it to me... but I keep sticking my head in the sand. Bad enough being diagnosed with lupus. :-(

I have had it for several years too, but now i feel it is subsiding thank goodness.

Fibro fog can be quite disturbing , i know sometimes i thought i was losing the plot, but you can teach yourself managing techniques...first know that it will pass and secondly if you can go outside in the fresh air and have a gentle walk..

hope this helps..

Sister has had fibromyalgia for many years. Don't understand your Dr Cynthia as it has been accepted as a real illness.

Chippie it depends what the symptons are, everyone is different and the treatment for each case is different too ...also if being tested it is better to ask questions at the clinic...especially if the symptons get worse....which again depends on the person........Diagnosis can take a long time

My daughter has all the symptoms and talks about the fibro 'fog'. Unfortunately, the doctor does not 'do' fibromyalgia....... :-(

Is it something you think you might suffer from?
