Whatever version of windows you are running generally the speakers will be plugged into the sound socket using a thin wire with micro plug. The socket on the computer will be GREEN and often the speaker plug is green as well. Speakers not being plugged in and/or not powered up or sound turned right down on the speaker are a common reason for no sound. Many speakers need a mains power supply check it is plugged in and turned on. One of the speakers will usually have a power light. |

My laptop is old and cant get sound or work out whats wrong so I plug in earphones in front of laptop and can listen fine with these! |

Asda and got a refund and have now got a wireless one and it's fine - phew!!! Curry's are great at helping thickos!!!! as for the sound, I've come to the conclusion that whilst I was delving around the back of the computer to remove the oldkeyboard I must have somehow disconnected the sound - soI'll have to go delving yet again |
