They are not digitised and can only be searched by street not by name. Ay are gradually digitising the ER - they have done London and some parts of the provinces. Ay have also digitised the BT phone book from the year dot to around 1984 by year. This can often be used to ascertain poss addresses before ploughing through the ERs.

The residential address is usually on wills & death certs as well of course where you are looking for somebody departed.

Does anyone have any idea how to access electoral registers for Derby between 1965 and 1975, or indeed if they exist
