Well the title says it all really :-(

As some will know, we recently had our front garden revamped. Three quarters of it is now done, but the area of the Council Verge, where we will be parking cars, is still just sand

Phone call today from our daughter; OH took it and I just heard "What? You'll pick us at 12.00 noon...How much?...Free?"

OH and her partner came around at 12.00 noon.

Took us to a sand and gravel pit operated by daughter's former (more on that soon) and her partner's current employer.

Two types of gravel: take our pick :-S

Both daughter and her partner attended the company Christmas Party last week and were talking about our garden. The Managing Director, who is also one of the initial partners in the firm, said any quantity that we want we can have with no charge, and with delivery thrown in :-D :-D

We chose the one we wanted, and now just wait for the delivery.

The firm is B & J Catalanos, and it was old Bill himself who said that we could have the gravel :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
