:-D :-D :-D :-D@ Prickles...I am sooo glad I didn´t have a glass of anything in my hand.

Called in to say Merry Christmas to everybody,
I´m all sorted here just waiting for a phone call from OH to say he is on his way home from work put the oven on ! I´m all prepped and not expecting him until about 6pm mind. Mother-in-law has been down and has now gone for a stroll along the seafront. This could be because OH has opted to open pressie after dinner :-P

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

How's everyone doing?

This is the weirdest Christmas for me ever!

Apart from one traumatic year 1996........Christmas has always been at my place with.......Family and friends and neighbours popping in and out. My Dad always came for Christmas and he would sit in the corner with his special pub table, beer mat and ashtray. My friends called him the "Chosen One" because he was the only person I would allow to smoke inside.

Every so often you would here him shout.........."It's like Piccadilly bloody Circus in here!!!" :-D :-D "Is anyone going to get me a drink?" :-D

Christmas Eve, i am usually faffing about like a lunatic. Up till way past midnight peeling the dreaded swede, laying the table, trying to stuff extra presents in crackers that wont fit, trying to rearrange the fridge so I can fit everything in........etc, etc.......whilst all the "lazy buggahs" (As I like to call them :-D) are all up the pub enjoying themselves because they have nothing else to do. :-|

Well tonight Matthew......I am going to be......... one of those "Lazy Buggahs" I'm going up the pub!!!

I am sat here like a Lady of Leisure and I think I shall repaint my toe nails, or maybe soak for an hour in a hot bath.

I am going to my sons at 12 for Christmas dinner tomorrow and to my friends on Boxing Day for yet another Christmas dinner.

There is nothing in the fridge and the dining table is clear.

It is sooo weird, I can't quite get my head around it.

I suppose I will just have to force myself to relax, enjoy.........and get fat.

I hoped to be quiet, but daughter ill, we have minded the babe and spent the day food shopping.

Now doing Christmas day and Boxing for a fair few. How to do Xmas in 48 hours!

Just as well I didn't know, my stress levels would have been through the roof :-D

Big hugs for anybody spending the Christmas period by themselves, thinking of you and wishing you a happy, peaceful day <3
