My tree won't delete help

You are joking right? My tree has been pending for nearly 2 weeks, and all it takes is a simple switch ( computer rather than actual) ?

I have been in touch with support ( very nice "please be patient" e-mails) but they won't let me contact technical support directly.

This is the time of year that I have time to spare to work on my tree, and I had wanted to export the tree to show relatives who don't have internet access their relations on a stand alone device. Well GR have put the kybosh on that.

Not very professional .... I think I'll be keeping my master tree elsewhere once this has been sorted

This happens regularly.

For some reason the the GR processor which manages tree imports / exports and deletions gets switched off, usually when there are site updates going on and someone forgets to turn it back on....!

If not already done it needs to be reported to the support desk and they will get one of the techies to turn it back on.

Thanks everyone I thought I was doing something wrong or going mad! I've tried to upload another tree DetEctive but won't as other tree is pending.

Have you tried importing you new one? If it works it will over write the existing gedcom. You don't have to remove the original first.

If not, as Alisdair suggests, contact Support. Unfortunately you may not get a reply before next week.

Are you a user of Facebook? You could post on GRs page. Although its administered by Marketting, they may expedite your plea for help.

I think that there is a system wide error

Exported GedComs are stuck in pending state as well ( mine for over a week)

Have you reported your problem ( EMail to [email protected] ) ?

I've just rejoined and trying to delete old tree to import new one. All it's saying now FOR 3 DAYS is tree deletion pending. I've constantly refreshed page and can't import new tree, anyone have any ideas.
