DO YOU DECORATE YOUR HOUSE
OUTSIDE; WITH LIGHTS AND BLING
IF SO IS IT JUST LIGHTS OR DO YOU
GO WAY OVER THE TOP
AND PUT EVERYTHING ON THE ROOF AND
SPEND A FORTUNE ON ELECTRIC BILLS

No!

We have a small tree, a light in a window, and a wreath on the front door.

There are several houses around town that leave the lights up all year!

Most years we put fairy lights outside around the porch and along the top of the front window + a wreath on the front door. Although OH calls them the Blackpool Illuminations, they are very restrained and tasteful ;-)

Most of the houses at our end of the Close used to do it, but over the years people have moved or their lights have given up the ghosts. Only one other house has them this year.

first year I've decorated for quite a while - have wreath on the front door and various bits and bobs around the house with a plug in fibre optic tree on a table - I stuck the cards up with Blutak but they keep failling down
