It is reckoned that up to 230,000 people lost their lives. The biggest Natural Disaster in living memory :-(

The programme about 'after the tsunami' showed two siblings going back to see the lady who cared for them while their Dad went to try and find their lost Mum, who had nipped out of the car to get sun cream when the water came and washed the car along the coast. They came from Norwich where I live, they have been very brave and picked up the pieces of their lives and fundraised to help where they could, in memory of Louise Willgrass, their Mum. So many families torn apart by this terrible tragedy.
