A bit of humour for Boxing Day :-D

Twas the day after Christmas and all through the house,
every creature was suffering - including the mouse.

The toys were all broken, their batteries dead;
Santa had passed out with some ice on his head.

Wrapping and ribbons just covered the floor, while
upstairs the family continued to snore.

And I in my T-shirt, new Reeboks and jeans,
went into the kitchen and started to clean.

When on the road outside there was such a clatter,
I sprang from the sink to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,
tore open the curtains, and threw up the sash.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a little red vehicle with an oversized driver.

The driver was smiling, so lively and grand;
the badge on his jacket said "POSTMAN."

With his hands full of bills, he grinned like a fox,
then quickly he stuffed them into our letterbox.

Bill after bill, after bill, through the letterbox they came.
whistling and shouting he called them out by name:

Harrods, Selfridges, Debenhams, The Apple Store,
John Lewis, Libertys, Top Shop - and lots more!

I've maxed out my limit, in every store in every mall,
I've charged this & I've charged that - I've charged all!"

He whooped and he whistled as he finished his work.
he filled up our letterbox, and then turned with a jerk.

He ran back to his vehicle and drove down the road,
and driving much faster now he had only half a load.

Then I heard him shout this with great Christmas cheer,

ENJOY THAT LOT - YOU'LL BE PAYING FOR IT ALL YEAR!

Dermot Report 26 Dec 2014 11:27

An Irish farmer could send one of his prized breeding bulls to the slaughter – because the bull is more interested in breeding with males than females.

The anonymous farmer in County Mayo bought Benjy – an expensive pedigree Charolais bull – with the intention of breeding cattle last year.

However, the farmer was left disappointed when the bull refused to mate – and showed more interest in other bulls than with cows.

He said: “Benjy had already been tested and everything was normal, so it became apparent that his problems lay elsewhere.”

The farmer theorised that the bull was just a “discreet chappy” – but he brought in an expert who noticed his attraction to the same sex.

He said: “At first I didn’t take seriously that the bull could be gay but after seeking advice I know this can happen.”

The bull could be facing the slaughterhouse, with the farmer adding: “The bull is now too old to castrate and turn into a bullock so I will keep him for the factory.”
