Just realised Lynda......if it was the year you say then it won't be in those archives unless it was in the Times.......would it not be on Ancestry in one of their London thingies?

Have you tried joining Lancashire Libraries online Lynda? all free..they have millions of copies of newspapers as does the Newcastle Library...By the way......How the devil are you :-D :-D


failing that......try the Australian Newspaper archives.....loads of British stuff from way back....all free

I need a bit of help.....

A few years back I found an article in a online newspaper, regarding an inquest from 1921 For an ancestor, I thought I'd copied it, but can't find where I've put it, and now can't find the site for the newspaper, can anyone name a few online sites I could look at, it is for the London area, Ta
