Assuming you've 'purchased' a Standard membership, you will have been given 50 credits as an incentive to use the records on GR. They don't incur an extra charge.

We can all appreciate your frustration. Until you hear back from GRO, don't reply on the thread, initiate contact with anyone new nor view records thus using your credits.

If you do, they will probably say that you have taken advantage of the subscription and refuse to refund.

We'll be sorry to see you go - don't delete your account in case someone needs to contact you in the future about mutual relatives

I have been a member since 2003 and have made a point to Never have my subscription automatically renewed
Now somewhere along the line this year things have changed to not only automatically Renew my subscription which I don't want
But also to purchase credits
To say I am furious is a bloody understatement
Check your subscriptions people and if you don't want to be a member any more do what I intend to do after my money is returned to me and delete your account
