No fireworks here.

But we had a display from Mother Nature.

At midnight NYE we usually go outside and watch the lighthouse........ go Ooh Aah when the light turns our way. But last night was too wet, and we couldn't see the lighthouse anyway.... just a tiny light (it's about 15km away).

The rain poured down from about 9pm, and a little bit of lightning. After 1am a storm blew in........ rain, wind, lightning & thunder. I was woken up at least three times by the noise.

It's nearly noon, warming up, and everything is steamy :-(

Our aerial bombs started at 7.30pm Chilled pillled baby by 8pm as she was a wreck. went out 9pm She met me at the door at 12.15 frantic ... and dozy she is now sleeping again.

Yea I know I can´t go out for New year again * phrrrrwww

Fireworks outside earlier, not sure if something going on in the city but we are 5 miles from centre so must have been nearby. Don't usually hear city centre ones.
