Never a dull moment, folks!

Lovely that the family help you so much, Shirley.

Our strange mate M is a major pain in it but is incredibly kind and helpful. Usually I want to kill him and have always told people that I know I won't be going to his funeral because I will be in custody, but I won't be killing him until he has finished doing all those jobs he takes charge of whether I want them done or not.

Tomorrow he is coming round to be foreman while he and Fred's mate move the other wardrobe to the other bedroom. Then there is a can of paint ready and waiting for him.

He popped in today, had a cup of tea and put a new toilet seat on for me.

Unfortunately, he embellishes everything he tells anybody. The cat brought me in a couple of live rats which he let go. By the time M had sent the news round the village I was being evicted because my house was rat infested.

I've just repainted a couple of doors. I stuck the door handles back on; then wondered why I couldn't open one of the doors. :-S I'd forgotten to put the latch pin back through the middle; so when I turned the handle, it was going 'round and 'round without doing anything. :-|
