The first part of Katie Hopkins mission to put on stones in weight by overeating…then lose it through diet and exercise.

What did you think?

I haven't seen the programme but heard it mentioned on the radio yesterday.

Personally I don't like the woman and I'm pretty sure that even if she has managed to lose all the weight she put on then her body will not look the same as it did before.

I don't like the way she generalises about everyone who is overweight. No matter what she thinks, some people are overweight because of reasons that are out of their control.

I have always been horrified by her comments, but I surprised myself by agreeing with some of what she said.

However, I do have issues around weight myself, and have always been hard on myself, so maybe that's why I found it easy to agree with much of what she said.

I have spent decades thinking that I had an eating disorder, however since stopping medication, I find that I have much less of an urge to overeat. It is true, people overeat for many reasons.

My opinion on her was formed when she said she wouldn't let her children play with other children with 'chav-like' names.
When questioned on 'chav-like names' she said those named 'Chardonnay', 'Kylie' or after places - when one of her own children is named India!!!

I'd hate one of my grandchildren to play with one of her children.
My grandchildren have been taught manners!!!
And never to judge a book by it's cover.

wonder if she'll end up like the glutton, in the "meaning of life"?

I think I have may have remembered correctly? Was it stated that she was the second most hated figure? She certainly has no worries about what others think about her, she seems to have an extremely thick skin.

I thought it interesting that for some people they have no concern whatsoever about their words or what others think about them. One wonders how she manages to sleep at night?

I wondered what school she went to, and was horrified to read that she went to a private convent school from aged 3 to 16.
Seems like 'Christian Charity' wasn't taught there, and it looks like even her parents had had enough of her by the time she was 3!!

I have disliked her ever since she was on The Apprentice, and announced that she had no intention of working for Alan Sugar, but wanted the publicity being on the show would bring!! :-| :-| :-| :-|
