My sympathy on your sad loss, Val. What a good age your Aunt reached, and her cousin too. It's hard to lose loved ones but to know they have had a long life is surely comforting. May both cousins rest in peace, reunited with other family members.

My condolences to all her family

Although one knows they have had a good life and reached a really good age its still a blow to lose them .

My mums elder half sister died aged 101 in 2008 . she had kept all her faculties up to then apart from being a bit hard of hearing and we visited her in Cornwall just before her 100th and she was a mine of family info/gossip .

No matter of the age they are loved family members and hard to see them go

xx

AnninGlos - if your cousin owned his own house you could look on nethouseprices to see if the property has been sold. Even if it has it won't give you a proper answer because it maybe that he is in a care home. Did he have any children that you could try to trace?

Sorry to hear that Val, she was a good age wasn't she, I bet she could tell a few stories. It is always sad to lose a member of the generation above us. I have not heard from my oldest cousin since before Christmas 2013, he was 93 then. I can't work out how to find out what has happened to him. I have written to his lasy known address as he was married but no reply.

My condolences to your family Val.

So sorry Val, lost my last aunt May 2014, she was last of my parents generation, . She was10 weeks from her 90th, would have been nice for her to have had that birthday as we were all going to the party.

It leaves a void doesn't it - a whole generation gone.

Understand how you feel. <3
