Re: my earlier post,
I suppose that it would be sensible to do that.........But having thought about it since, it would mean being treated as if they DID have the disease, in solitary confinement ,and I don't suppose they have the room or extra staff to do that......

I don't know if they are..........
but I would expect people like Pauline should have been in quarantine before leaving the affected areas.......

There was somebody in South Cerney taken to hospital with suspected Ebola as she had just returned from Sierra Leone, but I am pretty sure she has tested negative. However they have kept her in isolation.

I hope Pauline can fight it off, it seems we don't have the most effective treatment available. And we need to get things sorted if others are going to be returning from places like sierra Leone. Appalling that these people were sent on their way on public transport. They should have been provided with a coach.

I hope she recovers.

Pauline lives and works very close to my home and I was reading yesterday that she is also the cousin of Packie Bonner, former Irish goalkeeper of Glasgow Celtic

I was extremely naïve to think that if/once Ebola entered our country, we would be that far advanced medically, we would have the means of a cure.

So hoping for positive news tomorrow...........bless her. <3

UK nurse Pauline Cafferkey, who was diagnosed with Ebola after returning from Sierra Leone, is now in a critical condition, the Royal Free Hospital says.
