I used to have a friend in Bedlinog!

I have always enjoyed Tom's voice and performances .............

I was quite taken aback when friends that live in Bedlinog in South Wales told me that when he was starting out as a singer doing the working men's clubs, he pinched the first prize in their raffle, which was a fresh chicken ....... thought it unbelievable that he had done that but later discovered on his TV documentary he confessed to doing this to illustrate how hard times were for him when he was trying to 'make'it ........ :-0

I rather like Tom as he is now :-D

Instead of desperatley trying to look like somebody much younger, he now looks like himself - rather a fit older guy, who's still got what it takes :-D ;-)

There was a programme on about Tom Jones a while back and I enjoyed watching it, as I enjoy seeing him on The Voice. I love Will and Ricky, will wait and see about Rita, don 't know much about her.

I watch the show for the talent not the coaches :-) :-)

I have only watched it once because i don't much like Tom Jones, but i might give it another whirl because i am certain that X Factor is fixed, and some really good singers lose out to some that are not good singers at all.

That guy in the final this year was terrible in comparison to those who were voted out.

We watch and enjoy it but I think we will miss Kylie this year. I know Rita Ora is a singer, only because I read about her in a paper/magazine but I know nothing else about the criteria that makes her eligible to be a judge. I did read that Will.i.am says that her qualifications are that she understands young people :-S

I'm with you Liz. This show is about talent and
not degrading people.

Love this prog. It's so much more positive than X factor, people are judged on their voices not their looks and comments are encouraging and constructive not soul destroying. It's not about the judges egos unlike XF where it seems to be mostly about simon cowell.
