The plot thickens!

I think he (Tennant) said it was an "unofficial" protection programme??

David Tennant came to Broadchurch, and pinched Olivia Coleman's promotion.

We did not know why he came to Broadchurch, but he had a 'past'.

He had been on a murder case of two young girls that had gone missing. One had been found the other had not.

The bloke on the hill was the accused murderer. The woman in the shack was his wife, who had testified against her husband. She was on a protection programme.

And that is the plot as I understand it! :-0

The background music was too loud & repetitive & droned on & on & sounded like a demented death watch beetle trying to drum its way out of something & ruined the drama

I loved David Tenant on Dr Who but I don’t like his Scottish accent as i find it hard to pick up all the words (I know its his native tongue as i watched him on who do you think you are & got a shock)

I think Olivia Coleman was over acting a tad on Monday too when she didn’t need to.

i agree the mother of the murdered child over acted very badly & did so the last time too.

It’s nice to see Charlotte Rampling again

Don’t know will give it a go - i quite liked the last one but it went on too long – could have been a couple of episodes shorter.

Who on earth was the woman in the cottage & the weird bloke on the hill - i must have fallen asleep In the previous series when this was explained

We watched part of it as 'nothing else was on'. Okay, it was Series 2 and we hadn't watched Series 1, but it was impossible to pick up the back-story.

Sorry - but if they couldn't be bothered to show a 5 minute precis of the main Series 1 story line, they've lost 2 potential viewers.

Before we turned over, the only thing we realised that it was a convention of actors from Dr Who and spin-offs.

I hadn't realised it was Charlotte Rampling until I saw the credits, I thought it was one of the Cusack sisters :-S

I loved the first series and am already hooked by this one.

I enjoyed last nights episode of the new series.

The last series was so full of red herrings, but I stuck with it and thought it was very good.

Last night within the first five minutes they reintroduced all the old characters, which was good because I had forgotton a few of them.

I do like both David Tennant and Olivia Coleman, and I was pleased to see Charlotte Rampling in the cast.

I think there will be many twists and turns in this series too. Looking forward to it.

I thought you were referring to the BBC's current practice of previews re runs and home brewed adverts........nearly as bad at commercial TV,

I got bored with the first series, it was so slow, dragging it out for 8 episodes was too long,in my opinion, I wasn't going to bother with the 2nd series,but decided to give it a go.
Hmmm,no, I wasn't impressed with the last nights episode & very quickly lost interest & I can't see me seriously watching another 7 episodes!

Some of the cast don't do it for me either, so that could have something to do with my lack of interest!
I can't stand David Tennant, & I really don't care for Olivia Colman,& the actress who plays the mother of the murdered child is AWFUL!

I watched it but couldn't understand all that was being said due to a slightly muffled effect. Maybe due to our satelite reception

I missed watching it last night, so hoping to watch it later :-)

Are we getting more than our fair share of adverts? I think next week I will record it.
