I guess you are talking about books for Kindle :-D

I'm an old fashioned girl where books are concerned - I love physical ones. The feel, the smell of them, and the way you can flick through them. Going to a book shelf and browsing through them is one of my big pleasures in life. :-D :-D

An hour spent in a book shop is my idea of heaven .......... well, one of my ideas! ;-) ;-) ;-)

I have to admit GiN I used to love doing that, especially at Borders In Speke Liverpool (closed now) ......You could sit on the leather loungers with a cuppa and read to your hearts content......

A lot of bookshops have closed down, sadly. I used to love Borders in Norwich for just that reason. Now, all there seems to be left is Waterstones and W H Smiths, though there are some others in Cambridge, such as Heffers, and some lovely ones in London.
I love to look on Amazon for reviews and ideas of what to get next :-D :-D

GinN

GinN Report 6 Jan 2015 22:13

Jem - this one is very simple, just garter stitch -, and increasing and decreasing to form a square. I'm using different colours, using 2 strands of different ones in each square, so all or most will be different :-D :-D

Glad to hear that your meds are kicking in, Mersey - you'll fel so much better tomorrow :-D <3

Mersey Report 6 Jan 2015 22:13

Jems I wonder if she got any holes yet, while posting on here as well ;-)

GinN

GinN Report 6 Jan 2015 22:16

No holes, and not a stitch dropped :-D - though I do sometimes forget to increase or decrease and have to go back ............ ;-) ;-) :-D

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 6 Jan 2015 22:17

:-D :-D :-D

We should all knit a square each! GR Friends Throw :-D :-D

But then we'd be "picking holes" in each other's work :-D :-D :-D

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 6 Jan 2015 22:18

Why do you need to increase or decrease to make the square? Never done squares before!
