Has anyone used one of these and do they work?

I used them a few years ago and it did work.

Yes we have one Ann bought when we both retired.
A 'Jigroll? for up to 1000 pieces, very well made and compact.

We made up loads of puzzles but only actually rolled them up to put away a few times, as grandsons insisted scenes were kept on dining table for quite a while afterwards :-D

Yes,
We have one and it worked fine.
We also have the porta puzzle boards which work extremely well but, the ones that we have only take jigsaws up to 1000 pieces.

Have had a 3000 piece jigsaw on the dining table since the end of Dec .
More than half done but it's driving me crazy!

We also found another great piece of kit
It's called Puzzle Sort & Go.
a box of 6 interlocking/stackable, jigsaw shaped containers for sorting all the jigsaw pieces (Edge bits, words, scenes etc)

Thank you will think about ordering one then. Glasgow Lass, that sounds interesting where did you find that?

We found it in Hamleys, Glasgow just before Christmas, but it was the last one.
Available online though;

I got one for a few pounds on gumtree last year after trying to do a puzzle in our holiday cottage on a too small tray so will be packing it this visit, but haven't tried it yet. That sorter looks interesting, might get one.

we like the porta puzzle board better .................... ours has 2 side pieces where you can put the pieces, and these then slide into the main part of the board before closing to move

Must admit though that we never use either the board or the roll up here at home ............. just use the dining table :-)

The porta puzzle is a lot more expensive Sylvia (daughter has one) and we really don't do enough puzzles to warrant one.
