How brilliant Glasgowlass - that's a lesson she'll never forget :-D

Det... She had the full 2 hour lesson.
She spent half of it in an empty, snow filled car park, the instructor showing her how to skid and then how to overcome it.

All in all, it wasn't a bad lesson at all

Glasgowlass, as long as her instructor thinks its safe, it's a wonderful opportunity to teach her how to drive on snow. Living where you do, there's a high probability she'll encounter it next winter after she's passed her test ;-)

Blue sky and brill sunshine here in Nottingham Maggie, but pretty cold.
A bit of frost on the cars, but with the sun out the temperature has shot up to... 1`c

Having been given weather warnings etc etc, there's absolutely no snow, frost or ice in this part of Hampshire - and the sun is blazing down :-D

According to my window thermometer, it's 9 ' C.

This may jog some folks memories.
On "what colour white would you like"...

Can anyone still remember seeing the "dirty" snow ? :-(
Lying snow that had been followed by smog weather leaving pollution lying atop the lovely white crisp snow. dirty black specks all over. made to look even worse when it started to thaw. (Not so happy days)

HaHa!
Driving Instructor has arrived to take Dau No3 for a 2 hour lesson.
He gave her the option of a 1 hour lesson or to cancel for the day.

She has decided to try it, just as it turns to blizzard conditions.
Getting out of our street will be a challenge.
The main roads seem OK although everyone out there seems to be driving at about 10mph.

The joys of living in one of the highest parts of Lanarkshire.
We get more snow than most places around, but it also lasts so much longer.

Det I wouldn't complain, keep it as a good luck charm. We have a dusting this morning but won't go out as it does look as if it has frozen so could be dodgy.

Snowing heavily here again.
A covering of about 4 inches at the moment, but the forecast is for rain later.

No chance where we live. We bought a plastic snow shovel a few years ago. It hasn't been used once for the intended purpose!
