Firstly find out if he got married, because if he had any more children outside of marriage they are going to be next to impossible to find in records.

Have you entered your own details on to an online family tree? This enables others to contact you if they are also searching?

Don't build you hopes up Charlotte.
Not all findings have a happy ending. I purchased my biological fathers Birth Certificate.
I then traced his marriage and found I had 4/5 half siblings.
No happy reunion there, they`ve been told by a close elderly relative its not possible (but I know different).
If they don't want to know so be it . I`m prepared to let sleeping dogs lie.
I was upset at first, but I can live with disappointment.
I look at it like this, their father never acknowledged me whilst he was alive, so why should I knock myself out over it.

I can only tell you my own personal findings.
I hope you fare a lot better sweetie.

Btw. please don't anyone come in and tell me to ask if any one of these siblings would like to do a dna test...
I have tried that, through a mediator, but they are apparently still not interested and they believe their Aunt`s (Fathers sister`s) story above mine (a total stranger to them).

Or for later records to 2006/7

Is his name very common?
