Apparently I have my grandfather's teeth! [I really should give them back]

Grandfather died when he was 32, so I never saw him, but I have the same strong, even white teeth, with pointed incisors on the sides. So have my kids.

It can be awkward/hilarious if you look like/have a striking resemblance to an ancestor - especially if they have 'awkward' names!
My gran (a Johnson) was brought up by her aunt, who married a Mr Gay.
One thing my gr grand dad's family had were striking blue eyes and jet black hair. My gran had these, as did my dad and one of my brothers, and I assume so did gran's cousins..
When gran died, this brother went to her funeral. A total stranger came up to him and declared: 'You've got Gay eyes'. Fortunately my brother knew he was referring to the family, and explained who he was.

On a genealogical trip to Suffolk. We went to the town where my
g granddad was killed during the war, aged 90.
He was in his shop when the shop was hit by a bomb.
We could see g granddad's shop had been rebuilt, so I went into the small shop next door, to see if they knew anything.
The lovely, very elderly lady had actually known g grand dad. I was chatting to her, when my mum walked in.
The lady stopped talking, looked at mum and said:
'You're definitely a Baggott'!!

It sounded a bit rude :-D

Mum wasn't actually a Baggott, but her grandmother was.

We had a neighbour who looked like Postman Pat.

Someone I used to work with was the spitting image of the comedian Alexei Sayle.

Apart from the height, the only difference his wife could spot from photos was the size of their ear-lobs. As the colleague wasn't a fan, he was highly embarrassed.

It has been said that No.1 Son looks like Tom Cruise, except that Son is a foot taller!

This morning, I look as if I had fallen head first into a bucket of soft tar.

That damn bathroom mirror will have to go or I will need to give up the odd glass or three of uisce beatha.

Rose I enjoyed that. I liked that song all those years ago, thanks for the memory. x

I'm sure it's only me who sees this, but I do see a striking similarity between Graham Norton - and a young Bob Hope.

Thought Bob Hope was funny...........but Graham Norton? :-D

I have been very confused at times.

Apparently, I look like Alison Steadman.

My Husbands cousin looks very much like Sean Connery and is a professional look a like.

Some say I'm a bit like James Nesbit. Cannot see that myself although the bathroom mirror is a bit wonky.

But we all have a load of some sort to carry through life.

Do you ever notice people and think 'he/she looks a bit like.....' ?

I was just flitting about on Youtube and watching a 'Slik' video from way back when I was young lol and thought of the keyboard player 'he looks a bit like Tim McGee ( NCIS ) when he looks at camera at about 3.25
