I never did like anything I knitted for myself :-D :-D :-D

I used to knit a lot for my daughter when she was young, my OH, and the Grandkids when they were little - but a blanket of multicoloured squares is about all I fancy doing these days, :-D :-D

Very therapeutic, though ;-)

I have drawers full of unfinished projects - mainly cross stitch, a bit too fiddly :-D

I now have the time, but not always the staying power :-D ;-)

I'm too used to knitting, I'm afraid, and just simple stuff at that :-D ;-)

I get phases, though - I'll probably soon go back to sewing and embroidery. It's really high time I went back to watercolour painting, but I just don't have the urge for it any more :-) :-)

My daughter taught herself when she was 10 years old, and still does a lot of knitting and crochet. She once tried to teach me, but neither of us had the patience :-D :-D :-D

I'd love to make a blanket with crochet granny squares - maybe one day :-D ;-)

My Mum used to crochet them said it was
a better finish like you the making up was the worst
and didn't like the look of it when sewn :-)

I'm afraid I can't crochet, Emma, though a friend has offered to show me how :-)

Last one I made, I just stitched them together - the making up is the worst part :-( ;-)
