We have been lucky here GiN no snow all week,

Hello just seen a couple of post about carer`s I worked in the community for about 7yrs .two private firms & the council the latter i really enjoyed it .in our day you cared for people did a bit of everything .personal care mainly .but the law changed & it was no this & no that .go in bath ,shower & help to dress .out again .shopping & house work done by differant carer .but i did go back & check on people before i went home,.my late Dads carers were awfull .left him in bed if he was awkward .total nightmare .i had retired so went 4 times a day .sometimes 10pm my dear Dad wasnt ready for bed .the carers said he was in bed 8pm written on the care plan.so sacked them off .did the job myself for over 12months & then he went into a home had altziemers I hope you get decent carers .Best wishes Barbra :-)

I'm logging off now, going to catch up with some of the programmes I recorded on my Sky Box over the two days that I was unable to watch due to my vision being blurred after my eye op.
